A wonderful and inspiring atmosphere of patriotism was witnessed among the Divyang children and youth. The program was held under the esteemed guidance of the senior president of the organization, Shri Bhaskarbhai Mehta.
Flag Hoisting and Distinguished Guests
On this national festival, the national flag was hoisted by the chief guest, Dr. Amitbhai Desai, who also offered salutations.
Shri Vishnubhai Patel, President of Rotary Club, Secretary Shri D. M. Naik, and Smt. Smitaben Doshi remained present as special guests to grace the occasion.
Introduction to the Organization's Activities
At the beginning of the program, the vice-president of the organization, Smt. Pravinaben Mehta, introduced the activities of the organization.
In her address, the general secretary of the organization, Shri Sandip K. Rami, explained the importance of education for Divyang individuals and paid heartfelt tributes to the great martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country's freedom.
Furthermore, although the president of the organization, Shri Gopalsinh Rathod, was not physically present at the program, he extended his warm wishes via telephone for the grand success of the event.
Felicitation of Outstanding Talents
On the occasion of Independence Day, talented individuals who performed exceptionally well in various fields were felicitated.
Talented Individuals Honoured
- International football player Shri Nirma Thakarda was honoured for achieving distinction at the Khel Mahakumbh and international levels.
- Surni Sarita brought pride to the organization by securing the first position in light vocal music.
- Amita Khant was honoured for securing the second position in classical music.
- Students who shone in state-level chess tournaments were felicitated.
- Students who performed exceptionally well in cricket were also honoured.
- Participants who performed well in Garba competitions were also recognized.
Academic Achievements of Visually Impaired Students
Visually impaired students who secured the first, second and third positions in grades 9 through 12 were encouraged with prizes during the program.
Their achievements demonstrated the importance of education, confidence and continuous encouragement for visually impaired students.
Felicitation of Teachers and Parents
During the program, retired teachers and teachers honoured with the 'Best Teacher' Award for their invaluable contribution in shaping the lives of Divyang children were specially felicitated.
The best parents who spearheaded the care, education and progress of these children were also specially honoured in recognition of their dedication and support.

Dedicated Efforts Behind the Celebration
The program was successfully brought to fruition through the rigorous efforts of the special educators and the staff of the Blind Association of Sabarkantha and Arvalli districts, alongside the presence of office bearers and executive members.
